A. J. THOMAS is a poet, fiction writer, translator and editor who writes in English and has more than 25 books to his credit. A former editor of Indian Literature, he taught English in Benghazi University, Ajdabiya Campus, Libya from 2008 to 2014.  He was also a Senior Consultant at IGNOU. He is a recipient of the Katha Award, the AKMG Prize, which enabled him to tour USA, UK and Europe in 1997, and the Vodafone Crossword Award in 2007. He won a Senior Fellowship  from the Department of Culture, Govt. of India, and was an Honorary Fellow, Department of Culture, Government of South Korea.
