Editor’s Note
We may be aware we are losing things but pay no attention to the lost. Alternatively, we may attend to our losses but remain unaware we have made a habit of loss. InoPtah’s graphic story is of a man who has become both aware and has started to pay attention. Like all good stories, it enables the reader to practice the art of losing the particular—the details of the author’s carefully engineered distractions—and thus gain an awareness of the universal situation. I believe it’s also called ‘living’. Enjoy!

InoPtah is an artist who works under a pseudonym in various genres. The artist pays special attention to the metaphorical depiction of current issues such as ecology, social injustice, psychology and culture.
InoPtah began his path to art with street sketches and visual diaries. Over time, his style developed into an original language that combines traditional and modern techniques.
The artist draws inspiration from everyday life and street life. InoPtah makes ordinary people, children and the elderly, the center of his art. The artist uses images of people of various nationalities, cultures and races, emphasizing their equal value and unique beauty.
Most of the illustrations are notable for their laconic color palette, where black and white graphics occupy a special place. The contrast of black and white in his works often carries a philosophical load. The rejection of colorful colors is not a limitation, but a way to emphasise the essence.
InoPtah adheres to the philosophy that beauty has no boundaries, because it lives in the faces, traditions and stories of people all over the world. [Text source: InoPtah]
